The Hastelloy C-276 Round bars are made from Nickel, chromium and molybdenum alloy with minimal additions of several materials such as Tungsten, Cobalt, and Manganese. The ASTM B574 Hastelloy C276 Round Bars are wrought corrosion-resistant Round bars that are suitable for applications in under high mechanical stress and also perform well in high temperatures and in places that require high surface stability. The UNS N10276 Hastelloy Round Bars resist the development of grain boundary precipitation keeping the corrosion resistivity of these round bars intact. Generally used in the solution treated condition, the Hastelloy C-276 Round bars are capable of being welded by the commonly used welding methods. The annealing process of the UNS N10276 Hastelloy Round Bars can be carried by soaking them at 1121°C (2050°F) and then quenching rapidly. The ASTM B574 Hastelloy C276 Round Bars are capable of being extruded or hot-formed. The Hastelloy C-276 Round bars are capable of being used in the “as-welded” condition for corrosive applications and the need for more heat treatment is not required.
