ASTM A276 S32760, also known as UNS S32760 or Zeron 100, is a high-performance super duplex stainless steel characterized by its unique combination of austenitic and ferritic microstructures. This alloy is specifically engineered to offer exceptional resistance to corrosion, high strength, and durability in aggressive environments.

Chemical Composition

The chemical composition of ASTM A276 S32760 includes:

  • Chromium (Cr): 24.0–26.0%

  • Nickel (Ni): 6.0–8.0%

  • Molybdenum (Mo): 3.0–4.0%

  • Copper (Cu): 0.5–1.0%

  • Tungsten (W): 0.5–1.0%

  • Nitrogen (N): 0.20–0.30%

  • Manganese (Mn): ≤1.0%

  • Silicon (Si): ≤1.0%

  • Phosphorus (P): ≤0.030%

  • Sulfur (S): ≤0.010%

  • Carbon (C): ≤0.03%

  • Iron (Fe): Balance

Heat Treatment

  • Stress Relieving: Performed at 300–500°C to relieve internal stresses without compromising the material's properties.
